Exciting news from the Institute for Discipleship:

Pilot plans are underway for the development of an opportunity for Christian leaders, lay or clergy, to participate in DISCIPLE Bible Study -- now online!

As the ministry of BeADisciple.com has developed, staff for the Institute for Discipleship have been asked about an option for DISCIPLE Bible Study to be taken online. At first, we resisted the idea, but recently it has become clear to us that this is a wonderful next step for DISCIPLE as well as for the Institute for Discipleship which was established to honor the lifelong ministry of the co-authors of DISCIPLE, Bishop Richard and Julia Wilke. DISCIPLE has been translated into Russian, why not a translation into "online"?

To learn more about Disciple Online, go to www.BeADisciple.com/discipleonline. We are looking for a few certified DISCIPLE facilitators to provide feedback on development as well as participants for How to Become a 'Disciple Online' Facilitator to be offered in February, 2009.

The Institute for Discipleship is pleased to announce these upcoming workshops:

Reading the Bible in a Whole New Way - January 11 - 17, 2009

Once again, Dr. Martha Myre will offer a repeat of this very popular workshop. In this short, introductory online course Dr. Myre will introduce you to different methods used for reading, studying, and presenting scripture.
